Hi Everyone, Tina here (+1 662 830 8246, info@nakedactives.com)

Here is our latest blog by Cynthia Chapman. She has given us her knowledge and research around her views of our products. I thoroughly enjoyed her comments about each of our products and oh....point #10. Just makes you want to keep on reading! Great work Cynthia!

Top 10 Must Haves for your Beauty Routine

It's almost imperative to have a beauty routine whether the rationale behind having one is for self-care (which we all could use some extra tlc), maintaining a skin care regimen is beneficial to both your dermatological health and even mental health. Most of us could agree that we feel enlightened to say the least or our self-esteem is elevated after we indulge in taking care of our skin, our lips, etc.

As a self proclaimed skincare junkie who believes in sharing with everyone what brings me joy, or in the case another person would find the same passion as me, or when people compliment on how good my skin looks I ought to tell them here about what I've tried recently.

I will let you in on my 'not so secret 10 must haves' that I use and follow religiously.

1. Hydrating Cleanser:

I find this product to be just right for me as it cleanses my sensitive skin without stripping away any moisture, leaving my skin supple and fresh faced

2. Hyaluronic Acid Serum With (Sodium Hyaluronate):

I typically apply this product right after I use Natural Actives Hydrating Cleanser to seal in the water which results in plump skin with a glowy complexion while honing in the anti-aging benefits that stem from hyaluronic acid that is one of the main components of this

3. Lip Repair Serum:

What I love about this product is how you can wear it just as you require (in the morning, evening or even in-between… of course I chose the latter.) Besides how rejuvenated, plump my lips are immediately and hours after application due to one of the main ingredients of this serum called Hydrolyzed Collagen and collagen is essentially the glue that holds everything together which in turn makes the use of this serum beneficial for aiding healing your lips due to superficial injuries. The taste of this lip serum makes it almost difficult to not be caught grazing your tongue over your lips.

4. Anti-aging Eye Cream:

Why I love this anti-aging product is not only due to the cream containing one of the main components that make it fall under the umbrella as having anti-aging potential as it contains not only Hyaluronic Acid but Retinol as well, why I also stick with this product is due to the one other component that I had struggled for years to find in combination with multiple anti-aging properties another component which is Hydrolyzed Collagen and as I previously mentioned this ingredient is fantastic for increasing blood circulation, I do emphasize that quality by applying the cream under my eyes in a circular motion, lastly I find it so refreshing that I have found a skincare product that does not leave my already sensitive skin dry and peeling as it instead has hydrating properties one of which is Jojoba Oil.

5. Vitamin C Serum:

Any Vitamin C serum is my other staple for my self-care regimen as a women who frequently spends her free time in the sun and has since young childhood I find a sense of security knowing that my skin is getting its own preventative treatment against developing hyperpigmentation (redness and/or dark spots) which is nearly an inevitable occurrence for not just myself but everyone as hyperpigmentation can rouse from not only age but every demographic due to environmental causes such as  the simplicities of childhood (like I mentioned above). As someone with very fair skin I am prone to redness and have found my tone even out extraordinarily over a short period of time after applying it on my skin each morning then applying a thin layer of sunscreen.

6. Vitamin B3 Serum- Niacinamide & Glucosamine:

Now this is one product that I would feel almost criminal for if I were to neglect to list it as one of my favourites. This serum contains vitamin B3 which is well known to have anti-inflammatory properties for the skin with the collagen within this product that works simultaneously to plump and moisturize the skin while alleviating and soothing my stubborn redness in which I have always been prone to.

7. Squalane Oil Pure Olive Derived Serum:

This product is one that I absolutely love to apply after I have a shower, as I am someone who will relent and cave into the temptation of having a hot shower despite my abundance of knowledge on how hot showers are a major cause of dry skin but hey, no one is perfect and sometimes we need to soothe ourselves after spending a morning working out a sweat at the gym. Due to this serum containing a pure extract of olive oil this makes for a perfect moisturizer and really locks in the water on the skin after one (including myself) takes a shower. No more patchy skin when I hop out of the shower and try to apply my foundation, I instead have skin soft enough to eliminate the need for a primer.

8. Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) Collagen Serum with Vitamin C:

This is another product that I would recommend to absolutely everyone. This serum contains green tea, sea kelp, and vitamin C which are highly regarded antioxidants that detox the skin, ridding it of impurities caused by bacteria and due to those properties it works as a preventative measure as well and with due diligence I am experiencing less and less breakouts over time. What also draws me to this product is how I have experimented with many creams, astringents, other serums that were antioxidants that I ultimately would abandon as my skin would be stripped of any moisture leaving my skin painfully dry and flaky whereas the Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) Collagen Serum with Vitamin C leaves my skin  hydrated while reaping the benefits of antioxidant properties.

 9. Naked Actives Vitamin C Serum with Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate For Damage Repair:

Ok, this is a sort of repeat to point #5 but I use this product religiously as I have scars from my extensive history of cystic acne and have found that with applying this serum every night overtime my purple scars have faded extensively to the point of my scars matching the exact shade of my skin tone and this result would be due to this serum containing vitamin C which is an antioxidant thus purifying the skin and removing  hyperpigmentation. This particular one has 3% concentration which is about the ideal level you want. Some offer higher concentration but you will get the same results and just add toxicity to your skin with a higher dose.

10. Ok here is the most important one...are you ready for it.....

Diet

So I did a crash course on Naked Actives Blog's and here they are. Yes, diet is incredibly important. Your stomach biome can be off and cause all sorts of skin issues. From dry skin to acne to redness and inflammation.  Read more about it here from the various bloggers at Naked Actives.
